Foundation Personnel is seeking an experienced Pipelayer for a project in Chippenham, Wiltshire. This role involves installing 600mm concrete pipes at a depth of 3 meters, ensuring the highest standards of safety and accuracy in all drainage operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pipe Installation: Lay 600mm concrete pipes at specified depths and grades, adhering to project specifications.
- Trenching and Preparation: Assist in the preparation and excavation of trenches to ensure a stable base for pipe installation.
- Site Coordination: Work closely with site teams, including machine operators, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, including confined space procedures and the correct use of PPE.
Qualifications and Experience:
- CSCS Card required for site access.
- Confined Space Certification essential for working in restricted environments.
- Proven experience in pipelaying for drainage systems, including work with large-diameter concrete pipes.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in pipelaying and excavation.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow project specifications.
