Traffic Marshall
Position:Â Traffic Marshall (A73)
Location: Guildford
Project: Water Treatment Site
Hours: 7:30AM to 5:30PM
Duration: 6 Months +
Salary or Pay Rate: £20 Per Hour
Foundation Personnel are currently seeking an experienced A73 Traffic Marshal to join a team working on a busy Water Treatments site.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional individual with proven experience managing vehicle and pedestrian movements on construction sites while maintaining the highest standards of health and safety.
Requirements
Essential:
- A73 Traffic Marshal / Vehicle Banksman Qualification
- Valid CSCS Card
- EUSR Card 1& 2
- Previous experience working on civil engineering, utilities, or infrastructure projects
- Good understanding of site safety procedures and traffic management
- Ability to communicate effectively with plant operators, site personnel, and visitors
- Strong awareness of blind spots, exclusion zones, and safe vehicle movements
Desirable:
- Thames Water Safety Passport / Thames Water Site Pass
- Utilities or water industry experience
- Additional CPCS or NPORS qualifications
Thames Water Pass
A valid Thames Water Pass would be advantageous; however, this can be arranged for the right candidate who demonstrates the necessary experience, attitude, and commitment to working safely within the water industry.
Duties
- Directing site traffic and managing vehicle movements safely
- Assisting plant operators with manoeuvring and deliveries
- Maintaining pedestrian and vehicle segregation
- Conducting daily checks of traffic management measures
- Ensuring all site visitors and deliveries follow site procedures
- Reporting hazards, near misses, and safety concerns promptly
- Supporting the site management team in maintaining a safe working environment
Please note: Successful candidates will be required to undergo a drug and alcohol test at induction, carried out by our end client, as part of their health and safety procedures
Candidates must be able to provide x2 Working References.
