Position: Traffic Marshall
Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire
Project: Bulk Earthworks Project
Hours: 7AM to 6PM
Duration: 6 Months +
Salary or Pay Rate: £19 PH
Foundation Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Traffic Marshall to join a busy Bulk Earthmoving project in Oxfordshire.
The successful candidate will be responsible for safely managing the movement of heavy plant, ADTs, dumpers, wagons and delivery vehicles around the site, ensuring safe segregation between vehicles, plant and pedestrians.
Key Responsibilities
- Directing and marshalling heavy plant and vehicles around the site
- Managing site entrances, exits and delivery areas
- Banking ADTs, dumpers, wagons and other heavy plant
- Ensuring safe pedestrian and vehicle segregation
- Communicating clearly with plant operators and site management
- Assisting with site traffic management and logistics
- Following RAMS, traffic management plans and site procedures
- Identifying and reporting hazards and unsafe practices
- Maintaining a safe and organised working environment
Essential Requirements
- Valid CPCS A73 Plant & Vehicle Marshaller OR NPORS N403 Traffic Marshal/Vehicle Banksman
- Valid Safety Critical / Construction Medical
- CSCS card / relevant site card
- Proven experience working as a Traffic Marshall on large construction, civils or earthworks projects
- Experience working around heavy plant and earthmoving machinery
- Strong understanding of site health & safety requirements
- Full PPE
- Good communication skills
- Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
Please note: Successful candidates will be required to undergo a drug and alcohol test at induction, carried out by our end client, as part of their health and safety procedures
