Position: Tracked Loading Shovel
Location: Bingham, Nottinghamshire
Project: Earthworks
Hours: 7AM to 5PM (10hrs paid)
Duration: 2 Weeks
Salary or Pay Rate: £23PH
Foundation Personnel Limited is currently recruiting for an experienced Tracked Loading Shovel Operator for an immediate start on a busy civil engineering and earthworks project.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and skilled operator looking to join a reputable contractor, with the potential for ongoing work for the right candidate.
Requirements:
- Valid CPCS Blue Card or NPORS with CSCS Logo – Tracked Loading Shovel
- Proven experience operating tracked loading shovels on civil engineering, earthworks, quarry, or bulk excavation projects
- Competent in loading, stockpiling, grading, material handling, and working safely around site personnel and plant
- Good understanding of daily machine checks and basic maintenance
- Ability to work efficiently and safely as part of a team
- Full UK Driving Licence (preferred but not essential)
- Safety Critical or SEQOHS Medical (advantageous)
Duties:
- Operating a tracked loading shovel safely and efficiently
- Loading articulated dump trucks and moving materials across site
- Stockpiling and maintaining haul routes
- Carrying out pre-start inspections and reporting defects
- Working closely with site management to meet production targets
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Please note: Successful candidates will be required to undergo a drug and alcohol test at induction, carried out by our end client, as part of their health and safety procedures
Candidates must be able to provide x2 Working References.
