Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Steel Fixer for an on-going project in Stockton On Tees. The successful candidate will be involved in constructing concrete bases, performing fixing works, and working in and around gas installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and secure steel bars, rods, and mesh for reinforcing concrete structures.
- Construct concrete bases and perform associated fixing works.
- Work safely and efficiently around gas installations.
- Ensure all tasks are carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the site team to ensure project deadlines are met.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- EUSR – Shea Gas certification.
- Manual Handling (beneficial).
- Abrasive Wheels certification (beneficial).
- Working at Heights certification (beneficial).
- First Aid certification (beneficial).
- Strong understanding of construction site safety procedures.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in steel fixing.
