Foundation Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Steel Fixer to work on a major piling project in Exeter.
This role is on behalf of a well-established specialist contractor delivering complex foundation, piling, and civil engineering projects across the UK. The company is recognised for its structured site management, high safety standards, and strong delivery record on technically demanding schemes.
You will be responsible for assembling and fixing reinforcement steel to create pile cages as part of a large-scale piling package.
Duties Will Include:
Assembling and tying reinforcement steel for pile cages
Working from drawings and specifications
Assisting in the production of approximately 500 pile cages
Ensuring steel cages are constructed to the required standards
Working closely with supervisors and site management
Maintaining high standards of health & safety on site
Keeping work areas clean, organised, and safe
