Hours: 7am – 6pm
Duration: Ongoing until Spring 2026
Salary or Pay Rate: Negotiable
Requirements: We are looking for two experienced Steel Fixers for a long-term assignment in Brighton. The work is ongoing through to spring 2026, so successful candidates will have employment secured beyond Christmas. Overtime rates are available for any weekends you choose to work. Immediate start available
Key Responsibilities:
- Use hand and powered tools (e.g. cutters, pliers, rebar benders) to cut, bend, and form steel bars to the required measurements.
- Read and work from construction drawings and technical specifications to establish reinforcement layouts and dimensions.
- Position and secure reinforcement within formwork, making sure it is correctly aligned and meets project tolerances.
- Tie, fix, or weld steel bars together using wire, clips, and spacers to create reinforcement frameworks and cages.
Qualifications and Experience: Blue Steel Fixers CSCS card and Medical required
