Hours: 07:30 – 17:30, Overtime on Saturday

Blue CPCS – Slinger/Signaller (All Duties)
Foundation Personnel are currently looking for a Slinger/Signaller (All Duties) for a tunnelling project in Corby, Northamptonshire, working on behalf of a specialist civils contractor heavily involved in complex underground infrastructure and confined space works across the UK.
This role will involve working closely with shaft sinking and cofferdam gangs on a live tunnelling site. You’ll be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient lifting operations with cranes and plant during the critical phases of pit and shaft operations.
Duties Will Include:

Slinging and signalling for crane lifts and lifting operations in confined spaces

Supporting the pit sinking/shaft sinking and cofferdam teams

Ensuring all lifting procedures are executed to the highest safety standards

Pre-lift checks and communications with crane operators

Mucking in with ground operations where required
Requirements:

Valid Blue CPCS card – All Duties
-
Experience working on tunnelling, shaft sinking, or heavy civils projects
-
Knowledge of safe working practices in confined or high-risk environments

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Flexibility to support wider site tasks as needed
