Foundation Personnel are currently recruiting for a Shuttering Supervisor to work on a major construction project in Oxford, Oxfordshire.
This role is on behalf of a leading international engineering and construction contractor delivering major infrastructure and complex building projects across the UK. The company is well known for its innovative construction methods, advanced engineering solutions, and strong commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability on high-profile developments.
You will be responsible for supervising shuttering and formwork activities, ensuring temporary moulds are constructed safely and accurately for concrete structures including columns, walls, and beams.
Duties Will Include:
- Supervising shuttering carpenters and formwork activities on site
- Overseeing the construction of temporary moulds for concrete structures
- Supervising shuttering works for columns, walls, beams, and other concrete elements
- Working from drawings and specifications to ensure works are completed correctly
- Working from harness where required
- Coordinating daily activities and allocating work to the shuttering team
- Liaising with site management, engineers, and other trades
- Monitoring progress and ensuring work is completed to the required standard
- Ensuring safe systems of work are followed at all times
- Following all site health & safety procedures
- Maintaining strict health & safety standards on site
