Site Supervisor
Position: SSSTS Supervisor (Utilities)
Location: Cromwell Lane, Coventry
Project: HS2
Hours: 07:00 – 17:00
Duration: 4–5 Months
Salary or Pay Rate: Competitive – DOE
Requirements:
• SSSTS
• EUSR Water / Power
• EUSR National Water Hygiene
• HSG47 – 2 day
• Safety Critical Medical
• HS2 / BBV induction
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervising a gang including ganger, topman, 360 operator and pipelayer
• Coordinating daily site activities and ensuring works are delivered safely
• Overseeing utilities installation, excavation and associated civils works
• Ensuring compliance with HS2 site standards and health & safety procedures
• Liaising with site management and reporting progress
• Supporting the team with planning, permits and day-to-day site coordination
Qualifications and Experience:
• Proven experience supervising gangs on utilities or civils projects
• Strong background in drainage, ducting, pipeline installation or excavation works
• Experience working on major infrastructure projects, ideally HS2
• Good understanding of safe digging practices and temporary works around utilities
• Strong communication, organisation and leadership skills
