Position: Site Supervisor (SSSTS)
Location: Necton, Swaffham (PE37 8EG)
Project: Substation
Hours: 07:00 – 17:00 (Monday to Friday, weekends available)
Duration: Ongoing
Pay Rate: Negotiable


Requirements:

  • SSSTS (essential)
  • EUSR NG Persons (essential)
  • Slinger/Signaller
  • EUSR HSG47 (Cat 1 & 2)
  • Previous experience working on live substations
  • Full orange PPE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as a working supervisor, leading a small gang on site
  • Supervising works within a live substation environment
  • Laying chippings and Type 3 to level
  • Overseeing foundation digs and ducting installation
  • Carrying out remedial works / concrete bagging
  • Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with site procedures
  • Managing day-to-day site activities and reporting progress

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Supervisor within civils / utilities
  • Strong background in groundwork and excavation
  • Experience working on live substations (highly desirable)
  • Good understanding of HSG47 and safe digging practices
  • Strong health & safety awareness in high-risk environments
