SITE MANAGER
£35.00 per hour | 1 Year Contract | Immediate Start
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to support a contractor delivering works on a Tier 1 framework at Sizewell.
The role will oversee four smaller work sites covering soft landscaping, fencing, minor groundworks and infrastructure/entrance works. This is primarily a site coordination, compliance and logistics role, ensuring the works and existing team operate to the standards expected on a major Tier 1 project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site setup and day-to-day coordination across four work areas
- Ensuring Tier 1 procedures, compliance and documentation are maintained
- Health & safety and site paperwork
- Logistics and welfare coordination
- Client liaison
- Coordinating drawings and upcoming works
- Programming and planning
- Supporting subcontractors and site teams
- Ensuring works are delivered in line with project requirements
Requirements:
- Previous Tier 1 main contractor / major infrastructure project experience
- CSCS Black Card
- SMSTS
- First Aid
- Managers HSE
- Strong understanding of site compliance, H&S and construction management systems
- Confident dealing directly with clients and project stakeholders
Hours & Rate:
£35.00 per hour
Standard hours expected to be 7:00am – 5:00pm with overtime rates paid after 3pm.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure a 1-year contract on the Sizewell programme, with an immediate requirement for someone to assist with pre-start planning ahead of works commencing on site.
