Position: Site Foreman
Location: North West & Cumbria
Project: AMP8 Water Infrastructure Projects
Hours: Full Time
Duration: Permanent
Salary or Pay Rate: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum DOE

Requirements:
- Previous Site Foreman experience within civil engineering and infrastructure projects
- Strong background in water, highways, drainage, reinforced concrete and earthworks
- Excellent understanding of health, safety, quality and environmental standards
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily site activities across multiple work fronts and gangs
- Ensure all works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project specifications
- Implement and monitor RAMS, ensuring all operatives comply with site procedures and PPE requirements
- Deliver daily briefings, toolbox talks and site inspections
- Monitor workforce, plant and material requirements to maintain programme delivery
- Liaise closely with Site Managers, Engineers and the wider project team
- Record and report near misses, incidents and changing site conditions
- Maintain accurate site records, including timesheets and daily reports
- Review drawings and specifications to ensure works are completed correctly and to the required standards
- Support and mentor junior members of the site team
Qualifications and Experience:
- Demonstrable experience as a Foreman within civil engineering, water or infrastructure sectors
- Strong knowledge of drainage, reinforced concrete, highways and earthworks activities
- Experience managing direct labour, subcontractors and multiple gangs on site
- Good problem-solving abilities and strong organisational skills
- Proven ability to maintain high standards of health, safety, quality and productivity

Our client is a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering major AMP8 water infrastructure projects throughout the North West and Cumbria. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Site Foreman to support the successful delivery of complex infrastructure schemes and lead site operations to the highest standards.
Please note: Successful candidates will be required to undergo a drug and alcohol test at induction, carried out by our end client, as part of their health and safety procedures.
