- Blue CSCS Formwork/Carpenter Card
- Confined Spaces – Medium Risk
Foundation Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Shuttering Carpenter to work on a major construction project in Beckton, Barking, London.
This role is on behalf of a leading UK construction and engineering contractor delivering major infrastructure and complex building projects across the country. You will be working as part of a large site team, carrying out shuttering and formwork duties, including work within confined spaces.
Duties Will Include:
- Constructing and installing temporary formwork and shuttering
- Building shutters for concrete walls, columns, beams and other structures
- Working from drawings and specifications
- Setting out and securing formwork ready for concrete pours
- Working safely within medium-risk confined spaces
- Using hand and power tools safely
- Checking shuttering is correctly positioned, level and secure
- Working alongside steel fixers, groundworkers and other site trades
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working area
- Following all site health and safety procedures
