Position: Shuttering Carpenter
Location: Leiston, Suffolk
Project: Sizewell C
Hours: 7:30AM to 5:30PM (9.5 Paid)
Duration: Long Term Work
Salary or Pay Rate: £27 PH (Travel & Lodge Provided, NOT PAID)
Foundation Personnel are currently seeking on behalf of a Tier 2 contractor for the Sizewell C project experienced Shuttering Carpenters for ongoing civil engineering and infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled individuals looking for long-term work with a reputable contractor delivering major infrastructure and heavy civil works.
Key Responsibilities

Constructing and installing formwork and shuttering for concrete structures

Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans

Building formwork for foundations, walls, columns, bases and reinforced concrete structures

Ensuring all work is completed to high quality and safety standards

Working collaboratively with site teams including steel fixers, groundworkers and supervisors
Requirements
-
Proven experience as a Shuttering Carpenter within civil engineering or large infrastructure projects

Valid CSCS Card (Blue or Gold preferred)

Ability to read and work from drawings

Strong understanding of health & safety on construction sites

Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
Desirable

Experience on major infrastructure or heavy civil engineering projects

Additional site certifications or plant tickets
Please note: Successful candidates will be required to undergo a drug and alcohol test at induction, carried out by our end client, as part of their health and safety procedures
Candidates must be able to provide x2 Working References.
