Hours: 39 hours per week (Weekend work may be required)
Tickets / Qualifications Required:
- CSCS Card (Essential)
- Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
- Previous UKAS Laboratory Experience (Essential)
- Experience Managing Laboratory Teams (Essential)
- Auditing Experience (Essential)
Foundation Personnel are currently recruiting for a Senior Materials Laboratory Technician to support a major infrastructure project.
This role is on behalf of a leading UK infrastructure contractor operating UKAS accredited laboratories, providing specialist materials engineering support to major civil engineering projects nationwide.
You will be responsible for managing laboratory technicians, coordinating testing activities and ensuring compliance with UKAS standards.
Duties Will Include:
- Managing daily laboratory resources
- Supervising and mentoring technicians
- Planning laboratory and site testing
- Reviewing material compliance reports
- Maintaining UKAS accreditation standards
- Managing equipment calibration
- Undertaking quality audits
- Reviewing external laboratory reports
- Delivering daily briefings
- Following all Health & Safety procedures
