Position: Road Sweeper Driver
Location: Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire
Project: Long-term Civil Works (1+ years)
Hours: 07:30-17:00, full shift paid
Salary: £18 Per Hour
Requirements:
- CSCS Card
- Driver’s License (C Category)
- DBS Check (Easy to complete online via GOV.UK)
- Skanska Paperwork (Can be completed online or on-site)
- HGV Class 1 or Class 2
Foundation Personnel are looking for a Road Sweeper Driver for a long-term civil works project in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. This role involves driving a road sweeper, ensuring thorough cleaning of roads and pathways to support site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating an HGV road sweeper to maintain clean roads in and around the site.
- Navigating project areas efficiently and adhering to site protocols.
- Conducting basic maintenance and checks on the sweeper to ensure operational efficiency.
- Collaborating with site teams to coordinate cleaning schedules.
- Ensuring safety and compliance with all traffic and site regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid CSCS Card to access the site.
- HGV Class 1 or Class 2 License required for road sweeper operation.
- C Category Driver’s License is mandatory.
- A completed DBS Check (or willingness to complete one online on GOV).
- Knowledge of Skanska processes (training or paperwork can be done online or on-site).
- Previous experience driving an HGV road sweeper is an advantage.
