Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Ride On Roller Operator to join a large-scale bulk earthworks project. As a Ride On Roller Operator, you will be responsible for operating machinery ranging from 12 tonnes to 25 tonnes, ensuring efficient and precise compaction of earthworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate ride-on rollers (12T to 25T) on bulk earthworks projects.
- Ensure machinery is used safely and efficiently.
- Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance of equipment.
- Adhere to all site safety regulations and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the site team to achieve project goals.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of solid experience operating 12T rollers and above in bulk earthworks.
- SEQOSH Medical certification valid for at least 2 more years.
- Ideally hold a Blue Card.
- NPORS certification with a CSCS hologram.
- Ability to provide 2 references from previous bulk earthworks projects.
- Provide a record of 4 previous jobs involving 12T rollers or extensive long-term work on rollers.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations on construction sites.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
