Position: Project Manager
Location: North West & Cumbria (Initial Project Liverpool)
Project: AMP8 Water Infrastructure Scheme
Hours: Full Time
Duration: Permanent
Salary or Pay Rate: £65,000 – £75,000 per annum DOE

Requirements:
- Proven Project Management experience within the UK Water sector
- Experience delivering AMP frameworks, ideally within a United Utilities environment
- Strong background in reinforced concrete structures and shaft sinking projects
- Experience managing projects from ECI and design stages through to commissioning
- Excellent commercial, contractual and stakeholder management skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the successful delivery of major AMP8 water infrastructure projects
- Define project scope, technical requirements and delivery strategies from ECI stage
- Manage the full project lifecycle from design and planning through to commissioning and handover
- Control project costs, budgets and forecasting to ensure commercial performance
- Manage project teams, subcontractors and resources to achieve programme objectives
- Administer contracts, variations and change management processes under NEC4 frameworks
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental and water industry regulations
- Identify, manage and mitigate project risks throughout delivery
- Act as the key point of contact for clients, regulatory bodies, contractors and stakeholders
- Oversee quality assurance and ensure works are delivered to specification and industry standards
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience as a Project Manager on water infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of AMP programmes and UK water industry standards
- Experience delivering complex civil engineering projects including reinforced concrete works and deep shafts
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Strong understanding of NEC contracts and commercial management

Due to continued growth and the commencement of a significant AMP8 scheme in Liverpool, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their expanding team and play a key role in delivering critical water infrastructure projects.
