Project Manager
Position: Senior Project Manager
Location: Stafford, England
Project: Pipeline Industry (Predominantly Gas)
Hours: Full-Time Position
Duration: Long Term – Temp to Perm
Salary or Pay Rate: Competitive, Based on EXP.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in the Pipeline Construction Industry, with significant expertise in Gas pipeline projects.
- Strong understanding of pipeline construction methodologies.
- Proven skills in budget management, scheduling, and risk assessment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards, including CDM regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage pipeline construction projects, with a focus on gas but inclusive of other utilities (e.g., water, oil).
- Oversee multi-disciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to align project objectives and resolve issues.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, safety compliance, and quality standards.
- Manage project documentation, risk assessments, and health and safety protocols.
Qualifications and Experience:
- CSCS Card (Manager Level)
- EUSR Gas Safety Passport (essential)
- National Grid Competency Management Scheme (NCO) (highly relevant)
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
- IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH General Certificate
- Cat & Genny Utility Survey Training (HSG47)
- Additional qualifications such as SPA Passport, HS2 Induction, or a valid medical are desirable.
