Project Engineer
Overview
Foundation Personnel, a leading Geotechnical and Foundations recruitment agency, is currently seeking Project Engineers to join our clients team.
Our client is a leading design-build geotechnical contractor specializing in ground improvement solutions for challenging soil conditions across the United States.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform and manage field quality control testing and maintain production records.
- Conduct basic field surveys, resolve layout and geometry issues, and prepare sketches/drawings to support construction activities.
- Ensure all work is executed in accordance with approved design and construction documents.
- Identify and resolve drawing discrepancies, conflicts, interferences, and errors.
- Prepare and submit RFIs to general contractors and engineers.
- Develop project submittals, including materials, work plans, and means and methods statements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders and clients.
- Support marketing and business development efforts through participation in trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
- Deliver technical presentations to prospective clients and assist with educational training initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. 0-3 years of experience required.
OR any equivalent combination of education and experience which meets the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
