Rate: £18.04 per hour (PAYE- holidays and pension included)
Hours: 07:30 – 17:30
*No travel or lodge unless stated*
Tickets / Qualifications Required:
- CSCS Card
- Previous pipe laying experience
- Confined Space ( preferred)
Foundation Personnel are currently recruiting for a local Pipe Layer to work on a regional civils project in Glasgow, Lanarkshire.
This role is on behalf of a leading UK infrastructure contractor delivering major highways, transportation, public realm, and civil engineering projects throughout Scotland. The company is recognised for delivering complex infrastructure schemes, maintaining exceptional safety standards, and investing in long-term sustainable construction solutions.
You will be responsible for installing and aligning drainage and utility pipework, ensuring all works are completed safely and to specification.
Duties Will Include:
- Installing drainage and utility pipework
- Aligning pipes to the correct line and level
- Working within trenches and excavations
- Ensuring proper gradients are achieved throughout installations
- Reading and working from drawings and site specifications
- Assisting with bedding, backfilling, and reinstatement works
- Working closely with groundworkers, plant operators, and supervisors
- Maintaining a safe and organised work area
- Following all site health & safety procedures
- Maintaining strict health & safety standards on site
