Salary: £21 Per Hour
Hours: 07:30-17:00
Requirements:
- CPCS or NPORS with CSCS logo card for all roles.
- One team member must hold SSSTS and First Aid certification (Ganger role).
- Groundworkers must have Forward Tipping Dumper and Ride-on Roller certification.
- Manual Handling is beneficial but not mandatory.
We are seeking a Civils Gang to join a respected civil engineering contractor working on a key project in Hanbury. The team will consist of a 360 Excavator Operator and 2–3 Groundworkers. The role offers a great opportunity to work with an industry leader specialising in delivering high-quality infrastructure and groundwork projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake all aspects of civil engineering tasks, including excavation, trenching, and groundwork preparation.
- Operate a 360 Excavator to support earthworks and other excavation tasks.
- Groundworkers will assist with drainage, kerbing, and other civils duties, including forward tipping dumper and roller operations.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental site regulations.
- The Ganger will lead the team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
Qualifications and Experience:
- CPCS or NPORS with CSCS logo card is required for all team members.
- The Ganger must hold SSSTS and First Aid certification.
- Groundworkers must be certified for Forward Tipping Dumper and Ride-on Roller operations.
- Proven experience in civil engineering and teamwork within a construction environment.
- Strong communication skills and attention to safety standards.
