Job Title: Groundworkers (Marine Experience Required)

About the Role:
We are currently recruiting experienced Groundworkers with marine or coastal project experience for a major civil engineering scheme in Erith, starting August or September 2025. The works include quay wall construction, coastal reinforcement, and general groundworks as part of a large marine infrastructure development.
This is a great opportunity to work on a specialist project with a reputable contractor.
Key Duties:

Groundworks on marine and riverside structures

Concrete works, formwork, drainage, ducting, and foundations

Installation of sheet piling and marine defences
-
Working in tidal and riverside conditions under strict HSE protocols

Reading and interpreting site drawings
-
Collaborating with engineers and site teams to meet project deadlines
Requirements:

Proven experience on marine or coastal construction projects is essential

Valid CSCS card
-
CPCS or NPORS (Excavator, Dumper, Roller, etc.) beneficial

Proficient in hand tools and small plant
-
Team player with a strong safety focus

Local to Erith or willing to travel
