Location: Altrincham, Greater Manchester
Duration: Temporary, potentially ongoing
Rate: £21 per hour
Hours: 07:30 – 17:30
Tickets / Qualifications Required:
- CSCS Card (Essential)
- Dumper / Roller Ticket (Essential)
- Pass Drug & Alcohol Test on Induction (Essential)
Foundation Personnel are currently recruiting for a local Groundworker to work on a finishing works package in Altrincham, Greater Manchester.
This role is on behalf of a leading UK infrastructure contractor delivering major highways, civil engineering, and urban development projects nationwide. The company is widely recognised for its involvement in large-scale transport and public realm schemes, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and efficient project delivery.
You will be responsible for carrying out finishing civils works including kerbing, paving, and road formation as part of the site gang.
Duties Will Include:
- Kerbing and edging works
- Road formation and final levels
- Paving and finishing civils activities
- Operating dumper and roller when required
- Working alongside plant operators and finishing gangs
- Ensuring works are completed to line, level, and specification
- Supporting general site duties as required
- Maintaining a safe and tidy work area
- Following all site health & safety procedures
- Maintaining strict health & safety standards on site
