Groundworker
Position: Groundworker (x6 Required)
Location: Necton, Swaffham (PE37 8EG)
Project: Substation
Hours: 07:00 – 17:00 (Monday to Friday, weekends available)
Duration: Ongoing
Rate: Negotiable
Requirements:
x3 Roles:
- EUSR NG Persons (essential)
- EUSR HSG47 (Cat 1 & 2)
- FTD / Roller
- 360 Excavator (with Lifting Ops)
x3 Roles
- EUSR NG Persons (essential)
- FTD / Roller
- Banksman / Plant & Vehicle Marshaller
- Slinger/Signaller (preferred)
- Previous experience working on live substations
- Full orange PPE
Key Responsibilities:
- Laying chippings and Type 3 to level
- Concrete remedials and foundation works
- Ducting and drawpit installation
- Kerbing and general concrete works
- Supporting all aspects of groundwork on a live substation
- Working safely around live services in line with site procedures
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven background in civils or utilities groundwork
- Experience on live substations (highly desirable)
- Strong understanding of excavation and safe digging practices
- Good health & safety awareness, especially around live services
