Position: Welfare Labourer – National Grid
Location: Elstree / Watford, Hertfordshire
Duration: Ongoing, long-term
Rate: Competitive – dependent on experience
Hours: 07:00 – 18:00

- National Grid Persons / NG Ticket (Essential)
- CSCS Card or equivalent (Essential)
Foundation Personnel are currently recruiting for a Welfare Labourer with a valid National Grid ticket to work on a major Power & Utilities project at the Elstree National Grid Substation near Watford.
This is a long-term opportunity working on behalf of a leading international engineering and construction contractor delivering major infrastructure and energy projects across the UK.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the site's welfare facilities and communal areas, while also assisting with general site duties where required.
Duties Will Include:
- Cleaning and maintaining site welfare facilities
- Maintaining canteens, changing rooms, toilets and communal areas
- Ensuring welfare areas remain clean, tidy and adequately stocked
- Emptying bins and managing waste within designated areas
- Cleaning site offices and other facilities as required
- Maintaining good housekeeping standards across the site
- Assisting with general labouring duties when required
- Following all National Grid site rules and procedures
- Adhering to site health & safety requirements at all times
- Reporting any welfare, housekeeping or safety issues to site management
