Crane / Lifting Operations Supervisor
Position: Lift Supervisor
Location: Guildford
Project: Water Treatment Site
Hours: 7:30AM to 5:30PM
Duration: 6 Months +
Salary or Pay Rate: £21 Per Hour
Foundation Personnel are currently seeking an experienced Lift Supervisor to join our team on a busy Water Treatment project.
This is an excellent opportunity for a competent and safety-conscious individual with a strong background in lifting operations within the civil engineering, utilities, or construction sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising and coordinating all lifting operations on site.
- Ensuring all lifts are carried out safely and in accordance with lifting plans and site procedures.
- Liaising with Appointed Persons, Crane Operators, Slinger Signallers, and site management teams.
- Conducting pre-lift briefings and ensuring all personnel understand the lift plan.
- Monitoring lifting activities to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting any issues or incidents.
Essential Requirements:
- CPCS or NPORS Lift Supervisor qualification.
- Valid CSCS Card.
- Proven experience supervising lifting operations on construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of LOLER regulations and lifting procedures.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Thames Water Passport.
Desirable:
- Experience working on Water Treatment or Utilities projects.
- First Aid at Work qualification.
- Safety Critical Medical.
Thames Water Passport
A valid Thames Water Passport is required for this role. However, for suitable candidates who meet the other requirements, we can assist in arranging the Thames Water Passport prior to commencement.
Please note: Successful candidates will be required to undergo a drug and alcohol test at induction, carried out by our end client, as part of their health and safety procedures
Candidates must be able to provide x2 Working References.
