Position: Crane / Lifting Operations Supervisor

Location: Chipping Warden, Northamptonshire

Duration: Long term Work

Rate: £25 per hour

Hours: 07:30 – 18:00

Tickets / Qualifications Required:

  • EKFB Induction (Essential)
  • Safety Critical Medical (Essential)
  • CPCS Blue Card or NPORS (with CSCS Hologram) (Essential)
  • Slinger / Signaller Ticket (Essential)

Foundation Personnel are currently recruiting for a local Crane / Lifting Operations Supervisor to work on a major infrastructure project in Chipping Warden, Northamptonshire.

This role is on behalf of a specialist civil engineering and groundworks contractor delivering drainage, utilities, and infrastructure packages on large-scale projects across the UK. The company is recognised for its expertise in complex drainage installations, high safety standards, and ability to deliver challenging civils works within demanding project environments.

You will be responsible for supervising and executing lifting operations for deep drainage gangs, ensuring all lifts are carried out safely and in accordance with approved lift plans. This role is focused on plant lifting operations and does not involve crane operations.

Duties Will Include:

  • Executing and supervising lift plans for deep drainage activities
  • Coordinating lifting operations involving excavators and site plant
  • Ensuring lifting activities are carried out safely and efficiently
  • Working closely with drainage gangs, plant operators, and site management
  • Monitoring compliance with lifting procedures and site regulations
  • Supporting the installation of deep drainage systems and associated infrastructure
  • Conducting pre-lift checks and ensuring equipment suitability
  • Maintaining safe exclusion zones and lifting areas
  • Completing lifting documentation and records as required
  • Maintaining strict health & safety standards on site
