Position: NGED OPS2b Document Holder
Location: Birmingham
Project: Substation / Civil Engineering Project
Hours: 07:30-17:00
Duration: 15 weeks, with potential extension
Salary or Pay Rate: £500 per day
Requirements:
• OPS2b Document Holder experience
• Previous substation project experience
• Document control or document management background
• Good attention to detail
• Able to manage, update and issue site documentation
Key Responsibilities:
• Managing and maintaining project documentation
• Keeping drawings, permits, forms and site records updated
• Issuing documents to the relevant site and project teams
• Supporting document control processes on site
• Filing, tracking and checking paperwork accurately
• Ensuring documentation follows project and client procedures
• Working closely with site teams to keep information flowing correctly
Qualifications and Experience:
• Experience in document control within civils, utilities, substations or energy projects
• Good understanding of site paperwork and compliance processes
• Confident using IT systems and digital records
• Organised, reliable and able to work independently
• Strong communication skills
About the Company:
Working with a civil engineering contractor on a substation project near Birmingham. This is a good opportunity for an experienced OPS2b Document Holder to support a busy site team with key documentation and compliance.
