Hours: 07:30 – 18:30

Foundation Personnel are currently recruiting for local 360 Excavator Operator (GPS) to work on a project at Stansted Airport, Essex.
This role is on behalf of a leading international engineering and construction contractor delivering major infrastructure and complex building projects across the UK. The company is well known for its innovative construction methods, advanced engineering solutions, and strong commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability on high-profile developments, including transport and aviation infrastructure.
You will be responsible for carrying out earthworks using GPS machine control systems, operating a range of 360 excavators while supporting the delivery of a major airport infrastructure project.
Duties Will Include:
- Operating 8T, 13T, and 25T 360 excavators using GPS machine control systems
- Carrying out all aspects of earthworks including excavation, grading, trimming, and backfilling
- Undertaking lifting operations in accordance with site procedures and lift plans
- Working to precise line and level using GPS technology
- Supporting site preparation and infrastructure works
- Carrying out daily plant inspections and reporting defects
- Working closely with engineers, supervisors, and groundworkers
- Maintaining safe working practices in a live airport construction environment
- Following all site health & safety procedures
- Maintaining strict health & safety standards on site
