Position: Lift Supervisor
Location: Stewkley, Bedfordshire
Project: Water Treatment Site
Hours: 7:30AM to 5PM
Duration: Long Term Work
Salary or Pay Rate: £22 PH

Foundation Personnel are currently looking for an experienced Lift Supervisor to join a busy Thames Water Treatment site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising lifting operations on site, ensuring all lifting activities are carried out safely, efficiently and in accordance with the relevant lifting plans, procedures and site requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising lifting operations and coordinating lifting teams on site
• Ensuring lifting plans and method statements are followed correctly
• Working closely with Appointed Persons, Crane Supervisors and site management
• Ensuring all lifting operations comply with health & safety requirements
• Carrying out pre-lift checks and ensuring equipment is suitable and correctly positioned
• Managing lifting zones and maintaining clear communication with the lifting team
• Ensuring safe systems of work are maintained at all times

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Lift Supervisor
• Valid CPCS or NPORS Lift Supervisor ticket
• Strong understanding of lifting operations, lifting plans and site safety
• Previous experience working on water treatment, utilities or major infrastructure projects is highly advantageous
• Thames Water Passport – highly advantageous
• Valid Medical – essential
• Reliable, professional and safety-conscious
• Able to work effectively as part of a busy site team

Please note: Successful candidates will be required to undergo a drug and alcohol test at induction, carried out by our end client, as part of their health and safety procedures
