Foundation Personnel are currently recruiting for a local General Operative to work on a new prison development in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.
This role is on behalf of a leading international engineering and construction contractor delivering major infrastructure and complex building projects across the UK. The company is well known for its innovative construction methods, advanced engineering solutions, and strong commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability on high-profile developments.
You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organised site, supporting the construction team with general operative duties to ensure the smooth running of the project.
Duties Will Include:
- Carrying out general operative duties across the site
- Sweeping and keeping the site clean and tidy throughout the working day
- Maintaining welfare areas, walkways, and access routes
- Assisting with site housekeeping and waste management
- Supporting site logistics and deliveries when required
- Moving materials and assisting trades on site
- Reporting hazards and maintaining a safe working environment
- Carrying out general labouring duties as instructed by site management
- Following all site health & safety procedures
- Maintaining strict health & safety standards on site
