Hours: 07:30 – 17:00

Foundation Personnel are currently recruiting for a local Slinger / Signaller to work on a major infrastructure project in Oxford, Oxfordshire.
This role is on behalf of a leading UK construction support and plant hire specialist, providing cranes, heavy plant, lifting solutions, and logistics services to some of the country’s largest infrastructure, energy, and civil engineering projects. The company is recognised for its technical expertise, experienced workforce, and commitment to delivering lifting operations safely and efficiently.
You will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of slinging and signalling duties, ensuring lifting operations are completed safely and in accordance with site procedures.
Duties Will Include:
- Carrying out all Slinger / Signaller duties on site
- Safely slinging and securing loads prior to lifting operations
- Directing crane operators using the appropriate signalling methods
- Ensuring all lifting activities are carried out in accordance with lift plans
- Maintaining safe exclusion zones during lifting operations
- Inspecting lifting accessories before use and reporting any defects
- Working closely with crane operators, lifting supervisors, and site management
- Supporting general lifting and logistics operations across the project
- Following all site health & safety procedures
- Maintaining strict health & safety standards on site
