About the Company:
Foundation Personnel are currently recruiting for a Roller Operator to join an established contractor on a busy Earthworks project in Castleford. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operator looking for ongoing work with competitive rates.
Requirements:
- CPCS or NPORS with CSCS Blue Card
- Safety Critical Medical
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience operating ride-on rollers on earthworks projects
- Strong understanding of site health and safety procedures
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a site team
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a ride-on roller safely and efficiently on a large-scale earthworks project
- Compacting soil, stone, and aggregate to the required specification
- Working alongside dozer, excavator, ADT, and grader operators to achieve production targets
- Carrying out daily pre-start inspections and reporting any defects
- Maintaining a safe working area and following site traffic management plans
- Adhering to all site health, safety, and environmental procedures
- Assisting with general earthworks operations when required
