- CSCS or similar tickets
- Previous Logistics Management Experience (Essential)
- Must be willing to undergo EL1 Clearance (Essential – clearance process can take up to 42 days)
- Must pass DBS check
Foundation Personnel are currently recruiting for a local Logistics Manager to work on a new prison development in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.
This role is on behalf of a leading international engineering and construction contractor delivering major infrastructure and complex building projects across the UK. The company is well known for its innovative construction methods, advanced engineering solutions, and strong commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability on large-scale developments.
You will be responsible for overseeing all site logistics operations, ensuring the efficient coordination of materials, deliveries, personnel, and site access throughout the project.
Duties Will Include:
- Managing all site logistics activities on a new prison construction project
- Coordinating deliveries, plant movements, and material storage areas
- Overseeing site access and traffic management arrangements
- Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Planning and maintaining efficient logistics processes and programmes
- Monitoring site welfare, compound arrangements, and housekeeping standards
- Ensuring materials and resources are available to support project activities
- Maintaining accurate records and completing logistics documentation and reports
- Enforcing all site health & safety procedures and standards
- Maintaining strict health & safety standards on site
