Hours: 7:30AM to 4:30PM
Duration: 1 Week
Salary or Pay Rate: £250 A Shift
Foundation Personnel are currently recruiting for experienced Shuttering Carpenters to join a busy construction project. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled operatives looking for ongoing work, competitive rates, and the chance to work on a major project.
Key Responsibilities
- Constructing and dismantling formwork systems for concrete structures.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Installing shutters for walls, columns, slabs, foundations, and other reinforced concrete structures.
- Working closely with steel fixers, concrete gangs, and site management teams.
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with project requirements.
- Adhering to all site health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Valid CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card (Formwork/Shuttering Carpentry).
- Proven experience working as a Shuttering Carpenter on construction or civil engineering projects.
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
- Good understanding of reinforced concrete structures and formwork systems.
- Own PPE and hand tools.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
Desirable
- Experience on major infrastructure, highways, rail, water, or civil engineering projects.
- Safety Critical Medical.
- CPCS/NPORS Slinger Signaller ticket.
- Previous experience with proprietary formwork systems such as Peri, Doka, or RMD.
