Position: Site Supervisor 
Location: Swindon 
Project: Cut and Fill, Concreting, Ducting, Drainage
Hours: 07:30 – 17:30 
Duration: 6 Months 
Pay Rate: £26 PH  
Requirements: Valid CSCS, SSSTS or SMSTS, First Aid (3 Day)
Key Responsibilities:  

  • Sorting out paperwork 
  • Managing sub-contractors on site 
  • Managing 10x lads (2/3 Gangs) 
  • Works are – Cut and Fill, Concreting, Ducting, Drainage

About the Company:

Foundation personnel are currently recruiting for a Site Supervisor in Swindon.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full day-to-day supervision of site operations, ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with project programme and specifications
  • Coordinating and managing 2–3 gangs (approx. 10 operatives), allocating tasks and ensuring productivity targets are met
  • Acting as the main point of contact on site for subcontractors, engineers, and project management teams
  • Overseeing all groundworks activities including cut and fill operations, concreting, duct installation, and drainage systems
  • Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with RAMS, permits to work, and site-specific safety procedures
  • Carrying out daily briefings, toolbox talks, and maintaining strong communication across all operatives and subcontractors
  • Monitoring site progress against programme and reporting delays, issues, or variations to the site/project manager
  • Managing site paperwork including daily diaries, site reports, allocation sheets, and health & safety documentation
  • Ensuring quality control checks are carried out and works are delivered to required standards before sign-off
  • Supporting and enforcing strict health & safety compliance, carrying out regular site inspections and addressing unsafe practices immediately
  • Coordinating deliveries, plant movements, and material logistics to maintain efficient site workflow
  • Assisting with snagging and completion works to ensure smooth handover of sections or phases

Please note: Successful candidates will be required to undergo a drug and alcohol test at induction, carried out by our end client, as part of their health and safety procedures
