Hours: 07:30 AM – 17:30 PM
Duration: 7+ Weeks
Salary or Pay Rate: £20 Per Hour
Requirements: Valid CSCS, EUSR Cat 1 and 2
Key Responsibilities: Location of live services
About the Company:
Foundation Personnel are currently recruiting for a General Operative to work with a leading earthworks company. This role will involve supporting site operations with a strong focus on the safe locating of live services and general groundworks duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day earthworks and site operations
- Locate and identify live services using appropriate methods and equipment
- Work safely around underground utilities, ensuring all procedures are followed
- Support plant operators and groundworkers as required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
- Follow all health and safety regulations on site
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS Card (essential)
- EUSR Cat 1 & 2 (essential)
- Previous experience working on earthworks or civils sites
- Good understanding of utility detection and safe digging practices
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
- Strong awareness of health and safety on site
Please note: Successful candidates will be required to undergo a drug and alcohol test at induction, carried out by our end client, as part of their health and safety procedures
