Foundation Personnel are currently recruiting for a local 360 Excavator Operator to work on an earthworks project in Derby, Derbyshire.
This role is on behalf of a specialist earthworks and civil engineering contractor delivering bulk excavation, remediation, and large-scale infrastructure support services across the UK. The company is widely recognised for its expertise in major earthmoving projects, modern plant fleet, and commitment to safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery.
You will be responsible for carrying out earthworks operations using a 360 excavator, supporting bulk excavation and site preparation works.
Duties Will Include:
- Operating a 360 excavator for earthworks and excavation activities
- Carrying out bulk dig, grading, and site preparation works
- Working closely with site supervisors and groundworks gangs
- Ensuring levels and excavation works meet specification
- Conducting daily plant checks and reporting any defects
- Supporting general site duties when required
- Maintaining safe working practices at all times
- Following all site health & safety procedures
- Maintaining strict health & safety standards on site
