Groundworker
Position: Groundworker
Location: Necton, Swaffham
Project: Substation
Hours: 07:00 – 17:00 (Monday to Friday, weekend work may be available)
Duration: Ongoing
Salary or Pay Rate: £28 per hour
Requirements:
- NG Persons (essential)
- EUSR HSG47 (Cat 1 & 2
- FTD / Roller
- Previous experience working in live substations
- Full Orange PPE
Key Responsibilities:
- Laying chippings and Type 3 to level
- Carrying out concrete remedials and foundation digs
- Installing ducts and drawpits
- Laying kerbs and completing concrete works
- Supporting all aspects of groundwork within live substations
- Working safely around live services and following site procedures
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Groundworker within utilities or civils
- Experience working on live substation sites
- Strong understanding of groundwork and excavation practices
- Good awareness of health & safety, especially around services
