- CSCS Card – Blue (Steel Fixing) (Essential)
- Safety Critical Medical (Essential)
Foundation Personnel are currently recruiting for a local Steel Fixers for an upcoming project starting in April in Brighton, East Sussex.
This role is on behalf of a leading international engineering and construction contractor delivering major infrastructure and complex building projects across the UK and globally. The company is well known for its innovative construction methods, use of modern engineering solutions, and strong commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability on large-scale developments.
You will be responsible for assembling and securing steel reinforcement within concrete structures in line with engineering drawings and project specifications.
Duties Will Include:
- Assembling and fixing steel reinforcement for concrete structures
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and bar bending schedules
- Tying rebar and ensuring correct placement and spacing
- Working closely with site engineers and formwork teams
- Ensuring all work is completed to specification and quality standards
- Maintaining a safe working environment at all times
- Supporting general site activities when required
- Following all site health & safety procedures
- Maintaining strict health & safety standards on site
