Position: 360 Excavator Operator
Location: Newmarket, Cambridgeshire
Duration: Long term work
Rate: £22 per hour
Hours: 07:00 – 16:40
Tickets Required:
- Blue CPCS or NPORS w/ CSCS (Essential)
- Safety Critical Medical (Essential)
- Must have clean criminal record (Essential – Security Clearance checks will be carried out)
Foundation Personnel are currently looking for a 360 Excavator Operator to join a drainage gang in Newmarket, Cambridgeshire. The role involves operating machines for deep drainage, with works up to 2.5m using trench boxes and manhole boxes. This is on behalf of a highly respected contractor delivering major civil engineering and infrastructure projects across the UK. Known for their precision, professionalism, and commitment to safety, they are a trusted name in delivering large-scale groundworks and civils schemes.
Duties Will Include:
- Operating a 360 excavator on deep drainage works (up to 2.5m)
- Supporting the gang with manhole and trench box installations
- Daily pre-start checks and reporting of machine defects
- Maintaining high safety standards in a busy civils environment
- Assisting with groundwork duties when required
Requirements:
- Valid Blue CPCS or NPORS with CSCS logo
- In-date Safety Critical Medical
- Clean criminal record (essential – must be able to pass security clearance checks)
- Previous drainage and civils experience
- Ability to work well within a drainage gang
