We require our employees to sign a copy of the Modern Slavery Policy to show they have read and understood it. We also require our suppliers to confirm they comply with their legal obligations and are committed to preventing modern slavery within their business or supply chain. We have clear policies and processes in place which are designed to ensure that we do not allow modern slavery or human trafficking to occur in our business or supply chain. These policies are regularly reviewed and are approved by the Senior Leadership Team.
There is a clear whistleblowing policy in place which encourages our employees, to report all concerns where they believe there is any misconduct or malpractice including suspected slavery or trafficking issues. Any concerns raised will be objectively investigated and we will ensure that appropriate actions are taken.
Training and Awareness
To ensure an understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our business, all our employees undertake annual mandatory training and must pass a test at the end to demonstrate they have a full understanding of our obligations contained within the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
Preventing Modern Slavery in Our Business
We carry out appropriate checks on all employees, temporary workers, and suppliers, so that we know who is working for us or on our behalf.
We carry out stringent right to work checks on all temporary workers and employees.
We train our employees to recognise the potential signs of modern slavery within our temporary workforce, such as:
- Multiple temporary workers being registered at the same address;
- Temporary workers not having access to their own identification and right to work documents;
- Temporary workers dealing with us through third party intermediaries or as part of a gang of workers;
- Temporary workers showing signs of fear, distress or a lack of understanding when dealing with us.
All employees are required to sign a copy of this policy to show they have read and understood it.
Our Expectations of Employees
Employees must immediately report any suspicions of Modern Slavery in our business or supply chains to a director.
Our Expectations of Suppliers
We require any business which provides goods or services to us to assess their business and supply chains and confirm that they:
- comply with their legal obligations in relation to Modern Slavery; and
- are committed to ensuring there is no Modern Slavery taking place in their business, or in any of their supply chains.
Our Commitment for the Future
Our training will continue to be mandatory for all employees so that they have the knowledge to identify any risks of modern slavery. In addition, we will continue to monitor the controls and procedures we have in place whilst having regard for the latest Government guidance and any legislative changes.
This Modern Slavery Statement has been approved on 3 March 2026.
