Position: Traffic Banksman
Location: Chelmsford
Contract Type: Temporary Contract
Hours: 07:30 – 16:30 (10 hours paid per day)
Pay Rate: £16ph
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Traffic Banksman to join our team on a civil engineering project. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing traffic on and around the construction site
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and control site traffic, ensuring the safe movement of vehicles and pedestrians.
- Communicate effectively with drivers and site operatives to prevent accidents and disruptions.
- Monitor and manage traffic flow around the construction site.
- Maintain clear and concise records of traffic movements.
- Adhere to all site health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Traffic Banksman on a civil engineering project.
- Valid Traffic Banksman certification.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to health and safety.
