Location: Leiston, Suffolk
Duration: Temporary, potentially on going
Rate: £25 per hour
Hours: 07:30 – 18:30
Tickets / Qualifications Required:
- CPCS Blue Card or NPORS (with CSCS Hologram) (Essential)
- Safety critical Medical
Foundation Personnel are currently recruiting for a local Slinger / Signaller on behalf of a Tier 1 contractor to work on a major infrastructure project at Sizewell C in Leiston, Suffolk.
This role is on behalf of a Tier 1 contractor delivering large-scale infrastructure works on one of the UK’s most significant energy developments. The project involves major civils, logistics, and heavy lifting operations, requiring experienced site personnel who can work safely and efficiently in a high-profile construction environment.
You will be responsible for safely directing lifting operations and coordinating with crane operators and site teams.
Duties Will Include:

Carrying out Slinger / Signaller duties for lifting operations

Directing crane and plant movements safely on site

Communicating clearly with crane operators and lifting teams

Ensuring loads are correctly slung and secured before lifting

Maintaining safe exclusion zones during lifting operations

Supporting general site logistics and plant coordination

Carrying out pre-lift checks and following lift plans

Maintaining strict health & safety standards on site
