Foundation Personnel are currently looking for a Site Agent to join a civil engineering project based in Ilkley, West Yorkshire. The role involves managing subcontractors for reinforced concrete (RC) works, with additional civils responsibilities across the scheme. RC experience is the main priority, but a solid understanding of broader civil works is essential.
This position is with a reputable civil engineering contractor known for delivering complex infrastructure and tunnelling projects across the UK. They pride themselves on high-quality delivery, a strong safety culture, and maintaining long-term relationships with major clients.
Duties Will Include:

Managing subcontractors and site teams for RC and civils works

Overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring works are carried out safely and efficiently

Reviewing and updating RAMS, ensuring compliance with project specifications

Coordinating with engineers and project managers to ensure smooth workflow

Monitoring quality, progress, and costs

Supporting project delivery to meet deadlines and quality targets
Requirements:

SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
-
3 Day First Aid certification

Proven background in reinforced concrete (RC) structures and civil engineering works

Strong leadership and organisational skills

Excellent communication and reporting abilities
