I’m working with a family-run civil engineering company that’s just secured a new £7.5m civils project in York – and they’re looking to bring in a Quantity Surveyor to join the team on site full-time.
This is a fantastic opportunity if you’re a civils-focused QS who enjoys being close to the action and working in a supportive, down-to-earth environment.
What they’re looking for:
? Experience with NEC3 and NEC4
? Solid civils background – highways, drainage, infrastructure, etc.
? Comfortable managing projects in the £5m–£10m range
? Great communicator, commercially sharp, and confident working autonomously
You'll be responsible for all the commercial elements on the project – subcontractor management, valuations, variations, final accounts – reporting directly into senior leadership.
