Job Title: Project Engineer
Location: Boston, MA

Activities and Responsibilities:
1.    Ensure that all OSHA safety regulations are followed and enforced.
2.    Ensure all installation follows Quality Control Manual, Approved Submittals and Work Plans.
3.    Ensure project engineering activities comply with company and contract requirements and support overall construction schedule.
4.    Provide technical support for construction effort including participation in construction planning and design; interpretation of design; application of construction methods; resolution and documentation of design conflicts; constructability reviews, etc.
5.    Develop, implement, and administer project engineering procedures and other work controlling documents.
6.    Prepare and manage production records and quality control records.
7.    Research and resolve drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, interferences, and errors.
8.    Prepare drawings and sketches to support construction work.
9.    Order materials, write purchase orders, and track inventory.
10.    Assist in preparation of change order documentation and claim analysis.
11.    Interface all on-site departments as required to resolve problems, ensure quality of construction, etc. in support of overall project schedule.
12.    Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience
•    4-year degree, preferably in Civil Engineering or equivalent technical training and related experience.
•    Minimum of 3-4 years similar construction engineering experience. 
•    Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, standards, etc., plus an in-depth understanding of the interdependence and relationship between other functional units required.
•    Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook and knowledge of CAD
•    Converse effectively using both verbal and written communication.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills plus demonstrated ability to manage a team of varied disciplines. 
•    Make decisions and assume accountability.
•    Ability to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance.
•    Strong problem solving, analytical and organizational skills.
•    Thorough and systematic, able to effectively manage time and competing deadlines.
•    Able to work in a dynamic environment.
