Position: Pipelayer with Confined Space
Location: Thurston, Suffolk
Project: Roads & Sewers – Installing Drainage Systems (Up to 3M Deep)
Scope: Civils – Confined Space Work, Drainage, and Pipelaying
Hours: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Duration: Temporary Employment
Salary: £220 per shift
Requirements: CSCS Card, Confined Space Certification, Dumper/Roller Ticket
Foundation Personnel is seeking a pipelaying gang – Pipelayer with confined space certification and Dumper/Roller tickets for a drainage project in Thurston, Suffolk. The project involves laying pipes within a gang on roads and sewers, with drainage depths up to 3 meters. The successful candidate will be experienced in confined space operations, with additional tickets for operating a dumper or roller.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install drainage pipes in road and sewer projects, working up to 3 meters deep within confined spaces.
- Safely operate within confined spaces, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
- Use dumper or roller machinery as needed for site tasks and material handling.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, especially concerning confined space and machinery operation.
- Work alongside the drainage gang and machine operators to ensure smooth workflow and project completion.
Qualifications and Experience:
- CSCS Card required.
- Confined Space Certification essential.
- Dumper/Roller Tickets required.
- Experience in pipelaying and drainage work for roads and sewers.
- Strong understanding of health and safety standards in civil engineering.
