Foundation Personnel are looking for Groundworkers to join a 3-man gang on a housing development project in Shipdham, Norfolk. The role focuses on the early stages of construction—laying foundations, footings, and drainage systems essential for the build.
Footings are excavated trenches that trace the building's footprint and are later reinforced with steel (rebar) and filled with concrete. These support the block/brickwork for the home structure above.
Key Responsibilities:

Excavating and preparing footings and foundations

Installing drainage systems and connections

Carrying out plot drainage and general groundworks

Operating machinery as required (e.g., Dumper or Roller)

Working collaboratively within a small, efficient team
Requirements:

Blue CPCS or NPORS with CSCS logo card – Forward Tipping Dumper and/or Ride-on Roller (mandatory)

Demonstrable experience in residential groundworks

Understanding of building layouts and construction drawings

Ability to work safely and productively on a busy site
